1976
Thirty-six years ago on a beautiful spring morning,
I married my best friend
I married my best friend
in The House of the Lord.
I gave him a ring engraved with this poem,
Grow old along with me!
The best is yet to be,
The last of life, for which the first was made:
Our times are in His hand
Who saith "A whole I planned,
Youth shows but half; trust God: see all, nor be afraid!"
--Robert Browning
Somehow, the years have flown,
we've been blessed with bounteous gifts -
a beautiful family -
home -
wonderful opportunities and friends.
Life has been sweet and I know
"the best is yet to be."
Happy Anniversary D.B.
You have made all my dreams come true.
Grow old along with me!
The best is yet to be,
The last of life, for which the first was made:
Our times are in His hand
Who saith "A whole I planned,
Youth shows but half; trust God: see all, nor be afraid!"
--Robert Browning
Somehow, the years have flown,
we've been blessed with bounteous gifts -
a beautiful family -
home -
wonderful opportunities and friends.
Life has been sweet and I know
"the best is yet to be."
Happy Anniversary D.B.
You have made all my dreams come true.
